Yoga Retreat

Mardi Himal

Fixed Departure-May 10th

SUMMARY

This 12-day Yoga Retreat & Mardi Himal Hike blends gentle yoga, cultural exploration, and a scenic Himalayan trek into one immersive journey. You’ll start by visiting Kathmandu’s sacred landmarks, learning the stories and traditions that shape Nepali life. From there, the retreat slows down in Pokhara, where calm mornings by the lake set the tone before the trail begins.

The hike itself follows a peaceful ridge through rhododendron forests and traditional villages, opening up to wide views of Annapurna and Machhapuchhre. Each day includes mindful movement or yoga in unique mountain settings, helping your body adjust and your mind settle. You’ll meet local families, share meals in cosy tea houses, and enjoy moments of real connection along the trail.

This retreat is designed for travellers who want more than a holiday, those looking for space to breathe, reconnect, and experience Nepal in an authentic and meaningful way. You return home refreshed, grounded, and carrying memories that stay with you long after the journey ends.

Designed for Comfort and Wellbeing

This retreat follows a pace that lets your body and mind adjust gently. Each day blends movement, rest, and quiet moments, giving you space to enjoy the trail without rushing. The yoga sessions are planned to support flexibility, balance, and recovery, especially as the landscape rises towards High Camp.

Mindful Ascent Through the Mardi Himal Trail

The itinerary gradually introduces altitude so your body can adapt comfortably. Forest trails, open ridges, and tea house stays give you a rhythm that feels natural. We take our time, stop often, and make sure you always feel steady and supported as the views open up.

Flexible and Personalised to Your Needs

Every traveller moves at a different pace, and this retreat is built to honour that. If you need a slower morning, extra stretching, or a shorter hiking day, we can adjust. Your comfort matters more than sticking rigidly to a plan.

Guided With Care and Local Expertise

Your guide understands the Mardi Himal route, weather patterns, and how people respond to altitude. They may suggest gentle changes based on the conditions or how the group is feeling. These adjustments help you stay safe, relaxed, and fully present, ensuring the retreat feels smooth from start to finish.

A Safe, Supportive, and Meaningful Journey

By mixing mindful pacing, yoga, cultural experiences, and expert guidance, this retreat is crafted to help you feel grounded and confident each day. The focus is on your wellbeing — so you can enjoy the mountains, connect with the group, and return home restored.

*To give you a comfortable and meaningful retreat, this itinerary is designed with mindful pacing, gentle yoga sessions, and a smooth ascent through the Mardi Himal trail.
